Our story

The dnata story starts in 1959 in Dubai, UAE. Dubai National Air Travel Agency (known today as dnata) was established as an Emirati air services provider with just five employees. Dedicating the next 30+ years to achieving operational excellence in the country, dnata completed its first international expansion to Pakistan in 1993.

Since 1993, we have grown to become a globally-recognised operation, serving airline partners and airports in 84 countries, across 6 continents, and employing over 40,000 staff dedicated to keeping the world in the air.
