Adopt a school
To help to break the cycle of poverty, dnata4good has partnered with Dubai Cares to eliminate the underlying obstacles that prevent children of all ages from attaining a basic education. This is achieved through building and renovating schools, equipping them with adequate facilities, material and academic support.

Animal welfare
Many dnata Travel Group brands operate excursions involving animals and protected wildlife in certain countries. We always work to safeguard animals involved in animal tourism, and work collaboratively with communities dependent on the animal tourism trade to ensure its ethical practice.

Community
We have made significant financial investments and personal commitments to give back to the communities we work alongside and reduce the impact of our operations. Our teams regularly participate in beach, desert, ocean and canal cleanups, and as a business we have made significant investments into our core operations to reduce food waste and consumption of single-use plastics, alongside written commitments to tackle our environmental impact and to serve the communities we operate alongside.

Wildlife & habitat preservation
In 2020, we became an inaugural member of, and the first ground services provider to sign, the United for Wildlife Transport Taskforce Buckingham Palace Declaration, a landmark agreement outlining key actions required to end illegal wildlife trading and transportation. The Taskforce represents a forum for organisations to share best practices, clarify processes, and raise awareness of the illegal wildlife trade.
dnata holds a zero-tolerance stance towards handling banned species, hunting trophies or any products associated with illegal wildlife activities. The dnata Travel Group also reject any wildlife-related activities on their travel itineraries wherever they are in the world. All Group employees complete mandatory wildlife awareness training, so our people and partners are empowered to spot the signs of suspicious activity.

dnata4good
dnata4good is our employee charity platform. As part of the dnata4good initiative, teams from across the business have contributed to crucial wildlife causes such as mobile veterinarian clinics, rhino orphanages and funding support to anti-poaching agencies in southern Africa.
We hold a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Pretoria, South Africa, to support their research and rehabilitation projects. The partnership aims to safeguard wildlife through enhanced research, veterinary training, volunteer opportunities and full rehabilitation of wounded animals to support their reintroduction to the wild.
