dnata’s operations in Singapore began in December 1977 with the formation of Changi International Airport Services (CIAS). The company was founded with the mission of providing industry-leading ground handling at Changi International Airport.

In October 2004, CIAS was acquired by dnata and since then it has grown to become a world leader in airport services. In August 2011, CIAS was rebranded as dnata as part of a global initiative to unify the company’s international businesses.
