dnata Singapore Wins Prestigious PAX International Readership Award

Singapore - 10 April 2017 – dnata Singapore’s catering team has been voted ‘Airline Caterer of the Year’ Asia, 2017, by readers of Pax International, a leading publication for catering industry executives. This coveted PAX International Readership Award, presented in Hamburg during the World Travel Catering Expo, is testament to its ongoing innovation and continuous excellence in inflight catering.

“Inflight catering is an integral part of the travel experience and this award acknowledges our unwavering commitment to innovation, diversity and consistently high quality cuisine," said Robin Padgett, Divisional Senior Vice President dnata Catering. 

“Deeply understanding what our customers and their customers truly value, and delivering to that on every flight is what we pride ourselves on,” he added.

“This richly-deserved award for dnata puts a spotlight on their consistent quality, innovation and excellent service delivery,” said PAX International Publisher Aijaz Khan.

This is the fifth award for dnata Singapore in four years, having previously won Caterer of the Year, Jetstar (2014), Voted Best Caterer by both Air China and China Airlines (2015) and SWISS’ Top Global Caterer (2016).

dnata’s catering facility in Singapore employs over 550 staff and produces over 5 million meals a year for 22 airline customers. In 2016, the facility crossed the 400,000 average number of meals per month threshold.

dnata Catering internationally spans 62 locations in 13 countries and employees over 9,000 staff and 500 chefs. Its areas of focus include inflight catering, inflight retail and on-ground F&B operations.
