dnata Singapore welcomes more passengers into its airport lounges with three new airline partnerships

The tie-up is expected to bring in more than 35,000 passengers annually

Singapore, 27 April 2016 – More travelers can now access dnata Singapore’s lounges at Changi Airport as the company finalizes its tie-up with China Southern Airlines, Fiji Airways and Xiamen Airlines.

The new partnerships are expected to increase the footfall into the dnata lounges by more than 10%. Annually, dnata Singapore welcomes more than 350,000 passengers at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 dnata lounges.

Airport lounges continue to be a highly valued product for airlines and their premium customers. Mark Edwards, Chief Executive Officer of dnata Singapore says, “We work with airlines to understand the needs of their passengers. We listened and officially opened the doors to our new lounge in Terminal 1 in November last year. In the new lounge, we want to provide a differentiated and premium experience to passengers and have incorporated many suggestions to ensure that our product answers to their needs. We know we can play an important part in making sure that the passenger’s experience in the airport is a pleasant one through our lounge product. I am pleased that China Southern Airlines, Fiji Airways and Xiamen Airlines have placed their confidence with our lounge product and are a right fit for their passengers.”

Passengers flying with China Southern Airlines, Fiji Airways and Xiamen Airlines and departing from Changi Airport are welcomed to the dnata Lounge in Terminal 1.

As airports become increasingly busy, airport lounges are fast becoming a sought after commodity to get away from the general busyness of the airport for many travelers. “We recognize that the lounge is a potential growth area of business for us and we want to tap into the growing number of passengers calling at Changi Airport. In anticipation of new incoming business opportunities, there are plans to refresh and expand the lounge in Terminal 3 to welcome more passengers and improve our lounge offerings,” adds Mark.

dnata Singapore operates airport lounges at Changi Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The dnata lounges are open 0330hrs to 0230hrs 7 days a week. The dnata lounge in Terminal 3 has been voted ‘World’s Best Independent Airport Lounge’ at the Skytrax Awards 2015.
