dnata appoints new CEO for UK operation

DUBAI, U.A.E., 12th June 2012: dnata, one of the world’s largest air services providers, has announced the appointment of Gary Morgan as CEO for the company’s UK operation.
 
Gary has almost 30 years of experience in the aviation industry and extensive experience in both the ground handling and cargo handling markets in the UK.
 
Prior to his appointment with dnata, Gary held numerous senior positions at Servisair including Executive Vice President Ground Handling UK and Cargo Europe and most recently Senior Vice President at Menzies Aviation where he was responsible for their cargo operations in the UK and Ireland. 
 
 “We believe that Gary is one of the brightest stars currently working in our industry.  Under his leadership we are confident dnata will strengthen its position in the UK marketplace still further” said Gary Chapman, President of dnata. “Gary brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to dnata as well as a proven track record in ground handling. We look forward to him taking the business forward and continuing the service excellence for which dnata is renowned.”
 
Gary will be responsible for overseeing and developing dnata’s ground handling, cargo and transport operations. This will include the management of some 1,660 staff and over 20 airline customers.
