Established in the first quarter of 2010, dnata for Airport Services provides internationally recognised standards of airport ground handling to customer airlines operating to Erbil. With the region enjoying relative political stability and significant economic development, Erbil is quickly becoming the gateway to northern Iraq, with the airport witnessing a period a rapid growth supported by the operations of dnata. 


Opened in September 2010, the new passenger terminal has increased the airport capacity to 3 million passengers per annum, while the 4800m runway provides the capability for the airport to accommodate the largest passenger and cargo aircraft.
